Relationship building and community develop best when people have the opportunity to see each other on a recurring basis, connect in different mediums over time, and co-create experiences together.

Our membership program is designed for depth amongst people with mixed identities. We share values, a commitment to build relationships and contribute to the culture we’re creating, and show up for each other in holistic life.

Being an Interwoven member means being an active part of our community. It means showing up as your fullest self, and being embraced by a crew of mixed people who get you. It means co-creating with us and taking part in a relational space made just for people living in between racial and cultural identities.

This is not a passive group chat where mixed people happen to be digitally together - it’s a living, breathing collective where we know each other by name, show up with curiosity and joy, and know we’re a part of something greater than each of us could be alone.

Membership looks like:

• Monthly community gatherings on the first Saturday evening of every month in SF. (Sometimes these happen on the second Saturday when we need to work around holidays)

• Other community events sprinkled throughout each month (like book clubs, cooking classes, and field trips)

• Staying connected in our digital community space (Heylo), where we share events, photos and chats between gatherings

So many kinds!

• Mixed race, third culture kids, diaspora… with all the mixed combos you can imagine.

• Currently, our members have identity connections to (at least) 44 countries around the world, from Kenya to Taiwan, Italy to Morocco, and truly everywhere in between.

• Our community spans a wide range of professions, ages, and backgrounds aside from race/cultural identity.

• Most importantly, Interwoven members are kind, curious, relationship-oriented, creative, and caring towards the community and those in it. We feel lucky to be in community with such fabulous humans.
