More of us are living across racial and cultural identities than ever before. Yet we’re still asked to simplify our stories, check one box, or explain which parts of ourselves count as “enough” to belong.
Our vision is a world where mixed identity is embraced as whole, complete, and a culture of its own.
What does “interwoven” mean?
Being interwoven means you’re made of more than one — more than one race or culture woven into who you are.
Some of us are mixed by ancestry, some by upbringing, and many by both. You may be mixed race and have never left your hometown. You may have one heritage and a childhood spread across three countries. You may be a third culture kid or the child of an immigrant, having always felt in between.
The common thread that ties us: no single box holds all of you.
